Installation & Assembly of “GE” Coupling

1. Ring, housing and bolts, ready for assembly -a spanner is the only tool needed. |  |
2. Thoroughly lubricate Inside and outside of rubber ring with Vegetable based lubricant. This avoids pinching or nipping of the ring. Recommend use of ‘NMC’ Lubricant. |

3. Slip the ring over one pipe and bring both the pipe ends together. |  |
4. Slide the ring into central position over the pipe ends. |

5. Put on the sections of the housing and insert the bolts and nuts. |  |
6. Bolt up evenly until the nuts are fully tightened. Ensure that the bolt sections of the half housings meet, metal to metal. |
